Explanation for why I didn't get into Film school?

Came across this clip of an old movie i used to watch when i was a kid...."The Thing With 2 Heads" starring Rosie Grier and Ray Milland. Perhaps if i spent more time watching 'Apocalypse Now' or other more 'classic' films, the folks from Tisch would have decided otherwise on letting me in back in 1989.
